Keeping kids entertained at half-term

Children and young people from across the county will have the chance to get active and have fun this half term with the launch of the Active Northumberland October Holiday Programme.

With the school holidays just days away, Active Northumberland has lined up an action-packed programme of activities to keep young children entertained throughout the week - and many of them are free!

A wide selection of activities will be laid on across the county including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, archery, tennis, paddlesports, football, cricket, athletics and clip 'n climb.

Opportunities will be available for all ages - from tots to teens and there will also be activity camps run by fully qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches.

Ability2Play will be offering an inclusive leisure programme aimed at young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities.

To view the holiday programme in full, log on to www.activenorthumberland.org.uk Alternatively the information is available on the Active Northumberland app.
