Charity

At Highfield, we try to support as many different charities as possible. In December we wore our slippers for the day to raise much needed money for the charity 'Shelter', who support those who have found themselves homeless.

In April, our Year 5 pupils will be raising money for the RNLI in aid of their 'Wellies Appeal'. We will be doing this by hosting a Titanic themed day. This links into the current Year 5 English topic and will involve lots of exciting tasks and activities.

We hold an annual Charity Day where our pupils choose a local, national and international charity to support. We spend the day taking part in sponsored events to raise money which is then split between the three chosen charities.
