Charity Update

9th December 2018

Earlier this term, our pupils selected their chosen charities to support over the course of this academic year. One of these charities is a local charity based in Morpeth called Northumberland Greyhound Rescue. The charity is family run and relies solely on donations. Their aim is to find ex-racing greyhounds new, loving homes and until they do, the dogs are housed in kennels. After speaking to the owner of this charity, I have found out they urgently need quilts/duvets for the dogs to sleep on and to keep them warm over the winter months. If any families have any old, clean quilts or quilts and blankets which they no longer require please could you bring them into school by Friday 21st December. It would be very helpful if these were brought in plastic bags to ensure they are kept dry. I will then take them up to the kennels to be used.

As always thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
