Computing

Computing is a major part of everyday life. From phones, to tablets, to PC’s, access to all media devices is available within school and computing lessons. Improving basic ICT skills is a benefit to the wider school curriculum helping pupils’ access and support skills in other areas. In computing we are a paperless subject as much as possible. Homework is set on paper but all classwork is completed on the computer. This helps develop pupils’ digital literacy skills while also helping the environment. Pupils use a digital portfolio to display classwork, print screening any worksheets they complete that lesson as well as showing understanding for the lesson objective of the day.
