On Friday, 15 Year 5 pupils took part in the Children’s North East Charity Sandcastle competition held at Sandhaven beach, South Shields. The theme was “building a better world” and our pupils decided to promote LGBT rights for our entry.

The pupils were amazing, preparing their design at school, and then working really hard on the day to build the sandcastle, fetch water and decorate it! They were an absolute credit to the school and fully deserved their ice cream at the end of the day!
